Karen Linsley celebrates life to the fullest! This Minden, Nevada resident combines a full and rich work life with enjoying the recreational opportunities of the area. She rides horses, hikes and explores the territory, going off road in her 4-wheel drive truck to seek out interesting places to visit. She finds her private counseling practice very rewarding, and while she no longer does photograpy full time (she has owned and operated Image Angels, a photography business, since she founded it in 1987) she still enjoys doing an occasional photography job and also mentors new photographers. She also serves as the Spiritual Leader for the Center for Spiritual Living in Carson City, and in her role as minister, gets to officiate at many weddings, celebrations of life, blessings and other rituals.
She graduated from Holmes Institute with a Masters Degree in Consciousness Studies in June of 2014.
New Thought Journey through the 12 Steps is her first book. She is currently working on a daily meditation book called “Go on Every Ride and Chase all the Balls you Can!” She is also writing an autobiography titled “The Girl Who Cried Woogie.” You can support her efforts, get access to unedited writings and other tidbits, and become a member of her group Live Wild and Free by going here.
She likes to laugh, a lot, and believes that being able to laugh at one's self is one of the prerequisites for joyful living.
She shares her home with her husband Floyd, her cat Jake and dog Annie. Her horse Sonny Q lives just down the road.
