Author Biography

 

 

 

Karen Linsley lives in what she calls “the back 40,” northern rural Nevada, in a small town called Wellington, on 2.5 acre ranchette called The Woogie Ranch.  She rides her horse, goes rock hounding, loves to explore the surrounding areas, and attempts to garden with some success.  She lives on this ranch with her two horses:  Sonny Q and Annie, her two dogs AnnieMae and Chex, and cat Louise.

Professionally, she is fully retired from a 30 year career owning and operating a professional photography business, and now works as a minister with Centers for Spiritual Living.  She serves as Interim Minister and also has a Focus Ministry called Fearlessly Feral Living.  She also officiates a lot of weddings.

She graduated from Holmes Institute with a Masters Degree in Consciousness Studies in June of 2014.

New Thought Journey through the 12 Steps is her first book.  Here second book is called “The Girl who Cried Woogie” and is an autobiography. She is currently working on a daily meditation book tentatively called “Go on Every Ride and Chase all the Balls you Can!”  You can find her first two book in both print and e-versions on Amazon.

She likes to laugh, a lot, and believes that being able to laugh at one's self is one of the prerequisites for joyful living.
